Finding your way

While packing his backpack for a week long scout camp, the young boy in a distressed voice said,

"Mom, am scared to be all by myself. What if i get lost in the woods?"
"Oh son, you are much smarter and stronger than you think you are. If you find yourself lost, this box will help you find your way back." she said, as she gave him a small box that had a powerful torch, a compass and a knife. Attached to each of the tool was a note that read,

Torch - "Never lose HOPE, it has the power to light up even the darkest of paths,"

Compass - "Listen to your CONSCIENCE, its your moral compass and will always point to the true right,"

Knife - "Your WILL would help you cut through the toughest of obstacles."

Though the boy never got to use the box, he carried that note for the rest of his life.
